چکیده

Tim-3 is a negative immunoregulator in anti-tumor response, but its mechanism chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) not yet clear. The aim of this study was to understand the role Galectin-9/Tim-3 signaling pathway regulation CD4+ T cell subsets CLL patients. Flow cytometry results showed that number Treg cells obviously increased, and there significant Treg/Th17 imbalance In addition, overexpressed on surface Th1 levels Galectin-9 IL-10 were significantly elevated patients CLL, especially stages Binet B, C. However, IFN-? decreased. Moreover, positively correlated with Tim-3+ level IL-10. Interestingly, when Tim-3/Galectin-9 blocked vitro, culture supernatant reduced, while TNF-? increased. After co-culture activated cells, apoptosis effect reversed after treatment Tregs. summary, are associated disease progression. By suppresses effector function also promotes be involved immune escape CLL. This might become potential target immunotherapy

Integrin function in chronic lymphocytic leukemia.

Integrins are central to many aspects of the tissue localization of normal and malignant lymphocytes. We examined how integrin function, rather than simple expression, might determine disease behavior in chronic lymphocyte leukemia (CLL). Using fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) and immunoprecipitation, we first established the precise integrin heterodimer expression of a representative...

The role of microRNA in acute/chronic, myeloid/lymphocytic leukemia

MicroRNAs are small, non-coding sequences that regulate gene expression by inducing degradation or translational inhibition of target mRNAs. These molecules control many intracellular physiological and pathological processes.Abnormal expression of these moleculs has been described in different cancers including hematopoietic cancers. According to the type of cancer and the stage, miRNA’s expres...

Chronic lymphocytic leukemia, biology, new diagnosis and treatment: review article

Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) is a malignancy of B CD5+cells and is the most common type of leukemia in adults. The disease is more common in men over 50 years in western countries. CLL is associated with defective apoptosis in B cells. CLL was traditionally regarded as a disease that occurs before naïve B cells meet the antigen in the lymph nodes. Laboratory diagnosis requires white blood...

CD38 gene polymorphisms and genetic susceptibility to chronic lymphocytic leukemia

Introduction: CLL is one of the most common leukemias, which is categorized by the accumulation of mature CD5+ B-lymphocytes in the peripheral blood, bone marrow, and secondary lymphoid organs. In this study, the status of rs6449182 polymorphism of the CD38 gene and its association with clinical and laboratory parameters of CLL patients was evaluated. Methods: Genomic DNA extraction was perfor...

Deregulation of SOCS5 suppresses dendritic cell function in chronic lymphocytic leukemia

One cause of morbidity and mortality in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) is infection, which results from defects in a number of components of the immune system. In particular, dendritic cells (DCs) are functionally defective in patients with CLL. To understand the molecular mechanism for this abnormality, we focused on signal transduction pathways that regulate the function of monocyte-deriv...
